Southampton man, 39, charged following vehicle stop in Southampton

Following a vehicle stop on Stoneham Way, Southampton last week, a 39-year-old man from Southampton has been charged with two offences.

Mariusz Kolecki, of Park Street, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit and using a motor vehicle on a road without a valid test certificate.

He has been bailed to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 19 March.

Officers from Hedge End's District Policing Team and Neighbourhood Policing Team were involved in the stop and arrest shortly before midnight on Tuesday 16 December.

A BMW was also seized under S.165 of the Road Traffic Act (1988).
